Organizational Effectiveness Specialization (OE) - QNET

This specialization is a cooperative program with QNET and is designed to link general management theory with specialized training in improving organizational effectiveness.   Specialization courses are taken from specific seminars and workshops offered through QNET and their partners.  Through these seminars, participants can develop skills to improve the effectiveness of their organizations.  Participants must complete a minimum of 108 contact hours from approved qnet seminars to complete the specialization requirements. (Note: An additional 108 credit hours of University of Manitoba courses must be completed - see below for details).

Topics and schedules vary annually to reflect current trends and issues in the field. Look for the "CAM-OE" designation next to approved seminars and workshops listed in the QNET events calendar - click "Events" on the menu bar of the web site.

The fees for specialization seminars and workshops vary, depending on the length of the seminar and the costs associated with the seminar (QNET prices the seminars on a cost recovery basis).  In addition to the seminar registration fee, a "grading" or "assessment" fee of $75.00 + g.s.t. per workshop will be charged in order to administer and grade an assignment (short paper) and short exam (multiple choice questions) and provide you with a PASS/FAIL grade for the workshop.
